'New' ACP export products.
The dossier seeks to demonstrate the rapid growth of exports of 'new' commodities from ACP countries, including fruit and vegetables, cut flowers, and canned fish. The share of non-traditional exports in overall exports has reached more than 30for Mauritius, over 20for Kenya, Jamaica and Zimbabwe, and is approaching 15for Ghana. The collection of papers comprises several case studies, particularly of the five countries mentioned, with additional features on the market for fruit and vegetables in France, the market for flowers and foliage, and finding new markets in the North.
