To develop and catalyze the adoption of improved IC technologies, information and knowledge that will result with improved productivity of the ASAL areas.
Specific objectives

• To produce and avail improved indigenous chicken to farmers and multipliers
• To reach 2,000 poultry keeping households with appropriate IC technologies
  • Record a 5 % adoption of appropriate IC technologies
  • Poultry disease surveillance among farmers
• Increase the capacity of KALRO NRI Naivasha Centre to produce IC DoC and fertile eggs
