Rose Mutuku is the founder and CEO of Smart Logistics Solution Limited (SLS). Smart Logistics is an agro based raw material company in Kenya that supports smallholder farmers. SLS specialises in dryland farming and is using conservation agriculture to sustain production in the ASAL regions. She holds a Master in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in International studies (MA) – both from the University of Nairobi.
Rose has extensive experience in the management of international businesses supply chains both in the private and public sectors. She is a supply chain and logistics expert with a post graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management and a Chartered member of the supply chain Institute in the United Kingdom.
Eric Mulevu– is our Operations Director. Eric supports the company across a wide range of key strategic initiatives and activities in the company. He holds a Master in International Relations from the University of Nairobi. Eric has extensive experience in leading successful operations. Having had worked in senior management positions across the public and private sectors, he is best placed to ensure a coordinated company business activities for profitability and growth.
Sharlene Mutinda – the Head of Agri-Business is responsible for supervising and scheduling crop production. Sharlene is an agricultural economist and also holds a Bachelor Commerce from the University of Nairobi. She has the technical knowledge and is assisted by a full-time field staff to meet production targets. She brings on board a marketing experience from the Banking industry.
Fredrick Mwaniki –Head of Finance & Administration: Fred is a qualified accountant with a career reflecting strong leadership and team building skills coupled with a strong background in Administration. He brings into the organization a rich microfinance management experience and holds a B Com (Accounting) degree and a postgraduate Diploma in Human resources.
Michael Nzomo– is our Business development and Head of Retail Sales: Mike supports the consumer distribution arm of the business and holds an International Business Management degree from the United States International University. He has extensive sales & marketing experience having and has what it takes to grow the business.
Millicent Mutuku– the projects Coordinator: Millicent coordinated the research and development arm of the organization while fund raising to support the small-scale farmer’s production. She holds a projects diploma. Having worked with Kenya Research Institute (KARI) she has the experience to steer the unit on the success path.
