The Company Outlook

Smart Logistics Solution is an integrated agribusiness company dedicated towards contributing to the global food staples and nutrition security sustainably.  Our operations can be traced from the farm to the retail shelves as we partner with farmers to produce and supply high quality raw and value-added agricultural commodities ranging from grains to pulses and oilseeds. Our customers are drawn from the food & beverage industries, animal feed processors, supermarkets and the humanitarian aid organizations.

SLS functions through four strategic departments viz; Agribusiness Production; supply chain; Finance and Administration department. Agribusiness is the leading department running two key business lines that are the fundamentals of the company: - Farm production function that supports the small-scale farmer out-grower’s system through our COPMAS model and the company’s nucleus farms. As well as add value and assure quality of our products.   The supply chain department is our trading arm that sources and supplies agricultural products to local and export markets while the Finance and Administration department takes care of staff, administrative and finance functions. We also operate a Projects unit that acts as our ideas incubation Centre and works closely with Research institutions and other partners to support key elements in the organization. 

SLS will continue to evolve in the food industry as the company further grows its footprint in the international markets. We have experienced growth since inception and our future strategy is to grow profitably by developing our core business while investing in adjacent businesses that capitalise on our key competencies as we expand downstream into value addition, operationalizing warehouse receipting systems and large scale farm production.
